Description

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, huge head. Starts mild, malty, not too yeasty. Modest dry. A bit moldy. Finish not washy, malty-moldy, a bit soapy. Okay.

Clear pale golden and after pouring it out cloudy yellowish, a lot of tiny bubbles, large frothy white head, good retention and fair lacing. Aroma of wheat, banana, yeast, vanilla notes, bit custard. Taste is medium sweet and light sour, wheaty and fruity. Medium body, light creamy texture, average carbonation, aftertaste mild sweet and fruity sour, spicy notes and light herbal bitterness in the finish, very nice.

50cl bottle. BBE 19.02.15. Pours golden, slightly hazy, thick white head. OK lacing. Wheaty aroma with banana and candy. Flavor has sweet banana, slight soury crispiness, whatever that means, smooth wheat finish. Pleasant hefeweizen, refreshing. Light to medium bodied.

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a blond and thick foamy head. Yeasty, bready malty and wheaty aroma with fruity notes of banana, red apples and shades of cloves far in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Moderate wheat-character upfront, hints of slightly biscuity cara-malt with present notes of banana, lingering into the moderately sweet and delicately sour-tart finish. Good. 08.XI.14
