Description

(bottle) Cloudy, bright amber colour with a big and dense foamy, light-beige foamy head. Sweet and pruney, slightly citrus-fruity wheaty nose with light toasted elements and shy spicy notes. Sweet favour with light acidic notes, medium to full bodied with a mildly carbonation. Wheaty, slightly toasted taste with a berry-like fruit character; sweet and minimal sour-fruity finish with a lasting wheaty and fruity aftertaste. Smooth and deceptive Weizenbock (23.07.08).

(bottle) Hazy, ruby colour with a big and beige foamy head, also quite lasting. Medium sweet and slightly acidic toast-malty nose with a moderate wheat-character and fruity notes (prunes, red berries). Light-sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation for a wheat-beer. Toast-malty and wheaty taste with lighter fruity notes and a shy touch of liquorice; dry, slightly acidic and fruity finish with a whiff of blackcurrants in the aftertaste. Not directly easy-going, more for real fans of Dunkelweizens (23.07.08).
