Bottle, thanks Fin! Grassy gooseberry hop nose. Golden, white lace. Medium body, crunchy dry, grassy herbal bitterness, hayish malt, lightly catty, aromatic finish.

Bottle picked up from Stöttner Privat Brauerei Market and Bar Pfaffenberg and consumed at home Thursday 9th February 10th 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music and cooking Fettuccini with Walnut and Sage Pesto. Pours chestnut brown with a mid sized head. Nice maltiness, a little nutty, a little dark brown sugar. Easy drinking Schwarzbier and deserving of a decent rating.

Bottle picked up from Stöttner Privat Brauerei Market and Bar, Pfaffenberg and consumed at home Sunday 6th February 2022 after hike around Wörthsee today. About to cook Zarzuela and not chose anything to listen yet. Pours yellow/orange, hazy with a huge white head. It ticks most of the classic weisse bier characteristics, wheaty, a nice level of bananayness, lovely softness in the mouth, perhaps erring ever so slightly to sweetness, nice body, some dry grass/hay. Good

Bottle picked up from Stöttner Privat Brauerei Market and Bar, Pfaffenberg and consumed at home Sunday 6th February 2022 after hike around Wörthsee today. About to cook Zarzuela and not chose anything to listen yet. Pours reddy brown with an off white head which was huge though lasted only briefly. Mostly caramel on the nose, fruity, soft moutheel, wheatiness, very soft mouthfeel, fine.

On tap at the Getränkemarkt and bar on the edge of town, Pfaffenberg Friday 4th February 2022 had again in bottle at home Saturday 5th February, listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music after a Zoom chat with Scott and Mandy and a Chilli con Carne 'off' competition with Loz. Pours gold, excellent clarity, medium sized white head. There is a lovely bitterness to this it really lingers, a dry finish, fruity. Not entirely sure what style this slots under but note another beer site has it as a Fest/Märzen, with the hoppiness this tastes is verging on a lager IPA hybrid IPL but I'll go with Fest.

On tap at the Getränkemarkt and bar on the edge of town, Pfaffenberg Friday 4th February 2022. Pours gold, excellent clarity, medium sized white head. A little more full flavoured than the previous Hell, a bit more malty and very soft. Good beer, I would like a little hoppiness to show but realize it's never really pronounced in this style, good though.
