Thnx to SinH4 . Pours dark copper. Scent is full, sweet, intense, mild booze, complex. Taste is full, sweet, syrupy, pear intensity, sugars, but very nicely bledned in. Aromatic, very fruity. Must say I really enjoy this !

Bottle. Brandy colouring. Broad spiced applecake aroma, light Lebkuchen, a hint phenols. Apfelglühwein, a bit alcohol burn, great spicy finish. Great stuff.

Aroma is semi rotten apple, some cinnamon, some dry chalky spices, raisins, cream. Taste is very sweet and oily apples, lots of christmas spices. Drinkable, a bit heavy. Not bad.

2011 bottle. Deep copper color with no head. Aroma is super different from the Ice Cider I had right before, this is sweet caramel, pear, pineapple, brown sugar, a touch smoke indeed. Taste is sweet concentrated pear, a tingly touch of smoke and cheese, a tiny touch of tartness, toffee, tarte tatin - these are proper caramelized flavours in here. Definitely different from an Ice Cider, a real treat (but also fights less with acidity than Ice Ciders do). Viscous mouthfeel, decadent, and is right on the edge before overdoing it in decadency. Pure decadence in a glass.

Bottle - Red peel and acidity. Deep orange gold. Sweet and orange with no bitterness, apple, pear and caramel. Wonderfully sweet and rich. No real pear, but you can tell it’s just not Apple.

Has a golden-amber, has the typical fruity sugary notes of a classic ice cider. Very rich, decadent, pear...rich brown sugar...just a touch of acidity. Excellent quality, just rich and the pear is really blending into apple territory here. Any thicker and this will be sirop de Liege. Where’s the herve?

Corked bottle, recolte 2010, 11% ABV
Amber color, bright, luminous. Amazing aroma, caramelized fruit juices, caramelized pineapple, hints of pepper. Luscious mouthfeel, loaded with sweet and caramelized sugars, Swiss resinée in the final; low tier of acidity.
Wonderful.

200mL bottle, pours a clear caramel bronze. Aroma brings out notes of caramel, toffee, and residual sweetness. Flavour is very complex, with notes of toffee, caramel, brown sugar, and treacle. Sweet and decadent, without being cloying, Treacly, sweet, and caramelized pear sweetness on the finish. Phenomenal.

looks okay, kind of a dense amber apple juice. the nose is actually quite weak. there is a little cranberry aroma in there. taste is similar. not thick or dense, slightly bits of brandy in here. apple throughout but more of a sweet and really violent in your face apple flavor, almost too much despite the very weak mouthfeel
