"Fürst Carl Winterbock", Fläschchen von Liebick, 18.5.2025. - Dunkelrotbraun, klar; zu üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase fett toastig-karamelliges Malz, Doppelbock-artig, und nur milde hopfenwürzige und leicht zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, insgesamt ein wenig rustikal. - Antrunk schwer toastmalzig mit sirupartiger, fast klebriger Karamelsüße. Nicht zu knappe orangenbittere und hopfenwürzige Hopfung bildet das nötige Gegengewicht zur breiten Malzigkeit; dazu kommen Anklänge an Kirsche und Anis. Milder rezent, breit. Im Abgang solide hopfenbitter aber ein wenig blaß in der Hopfenaromatik. - Sehr solider dunkler Bock mit angenehmer fränkischer Hopfung, vielleicht ein klein wenig derb.

[as Perlenzauber Dry Hopped (2021)] Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, erbaceo e agrumi.

Can. Hazy deep gold with a three finger head. Aroma is well balanced grains with hints of biscuit. Taste is very similar with a nice gtain flaccor.

A slightly pale yellow, perfectly transparent. Gets quite some head, even with slow pouring, good retention but very little lacing. A very delicate, actually quite subdued aroma: hay/straw, slight white bread, a hint of honey, a hint of apple. Taste shows a delicate grainy/cerealy base with hints of straw, perhaps a very light honey note, a touch of apple-like fruitiness, very light grassy hoppiness to give balance; a little more intense than the aroma suggested but still a very mild beer. Sweetness and bitterness are both quite low, none stands out in both taste and aftertaste (maybe a very light sweetish aftertaste). Quite light bodied, light to medium carbonation (definitely not a strong carbo, but a not too fine one, bubbles feel slightly coarse). A very classic interpretation, aiming at simplicity and drinkability as expected; gets quite there but lacks a bit in refinement.

Clear dark brown colour, beige foam. Nice roasty and bitter with sweet notes of caramel and some fruity notes. Very good Dunkel.
