Half liter can from the 2022 Costco Advent Calendar, 10/12/22. Hazy amber, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of white bread, earth, citrus. Taste is pale bready malt, lemon. Crisp, fairly strong bitterness. Nice.

(Pils Unfiltered - from the Costco/Kalea Advent calendar - I'm not good with waiting). Lemon, biscuit malt, and grass aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with nice white head. Lightly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grass flavor. Okay body. Not too bad and not oxidized yet so that's always a bonus (one of the main reasons not to wait until December to drink).

Aber Caaaaaaaarl, das schmeckt grausam. Auch wenn man das absurde Video mit dem Lamas mit Hüten nicht kennt, passt der Spruch gut. Es ist ein primitives, brutales Industrie-Pils ohne Aromen und Liebe. Recht einfach trinkbar, aber keine Freude.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 24th August 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music cooking a Thai Prawn and Lime Curry. Pours hazy, dirty gold with a white head. Soft moutheel, smooth but a little confused and muddy, middling sweetness with a little fruitiness.

33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma mild fruity, red berries, mid sweet malt. Taste of red berries, not too sweet, hints of malt.

Bottle at Bruderherz, Nürnberg in the company of Jude and Baz Wednesday 15th June 2022, blisteringly hot today. Pours hazy yellowy gold with a white head, citrussy, there is a little grapefruit, dryness at end, good.

Bottle, danke Günther! Cloudy amber, low offwhite head. Grainy sweet aroma with caramel play. Medium full body, light sparkly body. lightly boozy sweet start, Boiled caramel, raisin, wooden dry notes, herbal bitter hops, lightly burnt sugar retronasal. Falls in the Lager as English barleywine category...
