Description
The Schlossbrauerei Ellingen with its fine beer specialties has been around since 1690. Experience a piece of our long-standing brewing history with every sip. What makes our beers so unique? FÜRST CARL beers are still brewed by hand in the traditional way in the copper brewhouse of the historic brewery. Our raw materials are natural and come from Ellingen and the region: water from our own well, hops and malt from Ellingen and Franconia. We only brew what we are good at: Franconian beer specialties!
Our family, the princes of Wrede and the team of FÜRST CARL stand behind what we do: first-class beers.

Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, fruity with a grainy back. Floral hops and grain there, a bit thin but highly drinkable in the finish. Nice.

Fläschla (also Perlenzauber...): Copper coloured, nearly clear, medium-sized creamy and lacy off-white head, moderate bitter-sweet malty to toasty nose with a mild citrussy-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering mild bitter-toasty finish. Decent drop, but not very suitable for the hardest hop-heads...

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a slightly hazy orange with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is straw forward with light grass and a bit of hay supporting. Flavor has lots of bread and straw with a touch of grass in the finish.

Okay. 9/8/9/9/9/9

Brown with an off-white, frothy head. Aroma of roasted grains and caramel. Taste is sweet, actually too sweet, but there’s a nice berry Marmelade tartness at the end that melds well and keeps this one interesting. Lingering red currant. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad.
