Hazy body with white head. Hoppy aroma that goes quickly. Hoppy taste with a bit of breadiness. Crisp aroma.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, head settles down. Corny aroma, sweet, grainy. Taste is sweet, over the top corn. A little bit too sweet for my taste.

2024 bottle drunk 8/28/25.
Dark, clear. Small, tan head.
Really well-aged nose shows nothing aggressive yet has plentiful spicy bourbon, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and light fudge. All well-balanced, with no alcohol or excessive sugar.
Light roast, but minimal and a lightly fudgey body, though far from syrupy. Well-attenuated but still has a chew to it that is satisfying. Rich but well-aged bourbon shows no aggressive edges and alcohol is nowhere near to be found.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a decent white head. Aroma of guava and papaya. Med plus body. Somewhat juicy. Flavor is citrus pith, guava and papaya. Not all that dry. Definitely bitter. Excellent flavor.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals a wonderful blend of bourbon barrels, dark dried fruits, and some caramel – wonderfully rich. Flavour is exquisitely complex, with deep bourbon barrels, dark dried fruits, leather, dry cocoa, and caramel. Damn, this is remarkably cohesive, elegant and deep. The barrels add wonderful additional depth to an already richly layered base. Phenomenal stuff.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Nose is very vinous, with lots of rosΓ©-like notes, musty grape skins, plenty of bugs, and a touch of oak. Flavour is very oaky, with lots of rosΓ©-like wine notes, wild bugs, and woody oak. Wonderful incorporation of the grapes and very oaky. One of the best Pfriem beers I've had in some time.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear golden pour, thin layer of white foam. Fruity aroma, notes of guava. Guava picks up in the taste, tropical, fruity, with a little bit of pine. Kind of dry finish.

Half hazy, lacy amber-pink goblet pour at North Park while my wife is itching for me to call a cab.

Smell is cold raspberries, sour apricot & faded citrus peel, no funk.
Tart but not terribly. Steel-like bitterness upfront, wheat, prickly raspberry, a bit thin.
Dusty, acidy, medium tartness that falls off.
Felt like I was drinking a tart wheat beer rather than lambic.

Okay.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. Clean golden pour, shiny, plenty of thick foam head. Lots of juicy tropical notes throughout, while maintaining the inviting west coast IPA flavor profiles. Really refreshing, excellent tropical aroma. Ideal summer IPA here if you like it on the fruit side with no fruit harmed (I think)
