Interesting brown ale, it could have more body, a bit weak with the aromas but it was better, at the final, touch of flour of chestnuts, drinking it at the bar closed nowadays, close to the cathedral of Lausanne and with Raoul

hazy golden colour, one inch of dense white head; aroma of marmalade, orange peel, pomelo, grassy, lemongrassy and oatmeal notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with definite hoppy and medicinal bitterness; not bad at all

Little cloudy orange blond beer, creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: juicy, fruity, mango, sweet impression, some caramel malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, juicy, tropical fruits, good bitterness, grassy, sweet caramel malts, citrus, orange peel. Aftertaste more juicy, tropical fruits, oranges, mango, love it!

Pretty clear light blond yellow beer, big creamy irregular white head, stable, adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, wheat, sourish impression, a little fruity, a hint of citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus touch, yeasty, pretty bitter, wheat, grains, hay, cow fodder. Aftertaste: gentle acidity, a bit grassy, yeasty, some banana, slightly sweet, banana peel, a bitter touch, decent!

Clear pale blond beer, big creamy irregular white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: floral, a little fruity, yeasty, pears, some citrus, spicy, hint of coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grassy, citrus, nice, good bitterness. Aftertaste: fruity, citrus, hoppy, a little yeasty, bitter.

In my opinion, it is an excellent pale ale, well balanced, malty, decent hop, yeast, bitterness and touch of grapefruit, a great one. 12.08.2016, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz, thanks Raoul for this bottle.

I was expecting a beer with more cinamon, cloves. Even though, it is a regular bitter, the color is nice, bitter, a bit watery, easy to drink, 11.11.2016, buying it in one market, at Chauderon, drinking it at home Prélaz, Lausanne. Loving this beer with a wind of autumn.

As usual, it is a solid tripel, tasty, malty, really sweet, sugar, some hop, beautifuk yeast through the body, classical one. 09.07.2017, drinking it with Alex, at the marchand de Sables, Carouge (GE), hot day and at night this beer was ok.

Thanks Raoul for this beer, best before 11/23, not a big fan of smocked beer and this one was for me just great, subtle, well balanced, perfect union between smocked malt and barrel aged porto, fruity, red grapes, smooth, normal bitterness. 11.07.24
