Tap. Hazy reddish color with tan head. Aroma is yasmin, sweet cherries. Taste is perfumed, sweet cherries, flat. Not exactly great.

Tap at Erzbierschof Liebefeld. Sour and vinous, some cherries, but mostly barrel. Very dry with nonexistent carbonation. Short finish, a bit watery. Simple and not bad, but also not exciting.

Bottle. A slightly citric grassy IPA, but rather shy. Medium body and carbonation, okay balance. Medium long finish. Altogether not particularly interesting, but not bad either.

Bottle. Slightly citric yeasty aroma on surprising cloudy yellow beer. Medium body with a matching carbonation and maltiness. Dry, short finish. Nice.

Bottle at home. Completely black. Some yeast sediment. Little head, foam dissipates quickly. Beautiful aroma of coffee and chocolate, prunes and raisins and a general smooth and rich roastiness. Mouthfeel is very flat, no carbonation at all, and quite thick. Flavour is very rich and complex. Quite sweet but also rather bitter, with some earthiness from the hops. Coffee especially and chocolate are nicely present but not overwhelming. Some milky/oaty creaminess. Bitter finish with the herbal/earthy notes from before but no long roasty aftertaste. Very delicate but very nice imperial stout which is extremely drinkable.

Botlle @ benzai. Hazy yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Smells herbs mostly. Tastes soapy, floral, herbs, thyme. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2016-2, thanks to Anstei] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow orange color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly dusty and some iron. Taste malts, iron again, hops in the distance, again a bit dusty, medium bitter. Average body and carbonation. Hmm not great.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep orange with an off white and creamy head. Aroma is mild fruity and toasted malty. Bitter, toasted, light fruity. Toasted, bitter and smooth fruity finish.

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small creamy and off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, caramelish and sweet. Bitter, fruity and slight hoppy. Mild herbal. Crisp fruity. Sweet malty finish overtaken by bitterness.
