330ml Bottle - Dark amber/red in colour. Malty aroma with notes of pine, dried fruit and caramel. Quite an unusual taste for a bock in terms of it being quite hoppy and malty at the same time, with notes of pine, caramel, berries and rye. The Amarillo notes are evident but do not overwhelm so it still feels like you're drinking a bock, albeit one with more of an exotic hop presence.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. A little hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity aroma of tangerine, orange and some peach. A little sweet, gently bitter, quite fruity taste of tangerine, orange and a bit of peach, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid.

Shared with Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker. Smooth grainy with a smooth malty sweetness. Quite bitter and dry, malty soft smooth with a grainy caramelly sweetish but still dry aftertaste.

Fläschla: Deep brown with a ruby sheen, presumably hazy, small persistent tanned foamy layer, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of toasted malt with traces of cacao and dried fruits, english bitterness underneath; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity, medium to full bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish with chocolate in the aftertaste. Not bad, but pretty tame...

Fläschla: Golden, hazy, no head to speak of, bitter-sweet nose of dusty grains, yeast and bread, herbal-medical hops in the background, lemony spots as well; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and a bit tart; lingering dryish bitter-fruity and grainy finish.Drinkable, but why drink franconian Ales, Lagers are much, much better...

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Smooth malty beginning. Caramel, moderate chocolate grain with hints of bitterness. Dense deep, round and malty. Nice.
