Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - flowers, custard and lemon. Taste - custard, almost caramel. Burnt brown bread. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry, roasty finish. Overall - decent.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden amber. Generous fluffy head. Nose - dried orange and cake. Taste - more fruit cake notes, with some citrus in there now, probably lemon rather than grapefruit. Palate - close to medium in body. Dry finish, but not as zesty as expected from the style. Overall - quite like the Bitter, I've just tasted. Not sure I get IPA here.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden amber, decent head. Nose - dried orange, brown bread. Light citrus. Taste - fruitcake including candied orange and light raisin. Also, an underlay of caramel. Palate - creamy texture. Would prefer a little more biscuit and dryness on the end. Overall - a decent example of the style.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - dark brown to black. Attractive fawn head. Nose - mainly chocolate, something sweet and syrupy, presumably from the heather. Taste - milk chocolate, some caramel. Cakey. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Elegant, and tapered finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden and clear. Attractive and proportionate head. Nose - light hop spice, a hint of citrus but mainly malty. Taste - more grainy this time. Again, some citrus. Palate - light bodied, fairly dry on the finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

Third by cask on the second day of GBBF Winter 2020, Sonnet Bar. Shared with Finn. Patchy head, misty golden body, dotted spots on the glassware. Promising smell of herbal hops added by mid-sweet malts. Mixed taste of grapefruit, dried fruits and leaves. Mid-dry bitter end. Pretty alright. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

31/5/2019. Cask at the Cheers Tree Beer Festival, Woodbridge. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, sweet caramel and light liquorice. Medium to heavy sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily/creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Sweet malt chocolate finish.

Cask gravity at Kent and East Sussex Railway BF 2018. Clear mid brown orange colour lasting beige head. Some yeast some sulphur on aroma. Better malt in the mouth. Decent mid malty sweetish bitter. OK.
