Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-copper color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was herbal and spicy with a bit of fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tangy and fruity with a citric acid element. Medium length bitter, tangy and citric finish. Medium body. Ok.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity and malty nose mostly oranges and some caramel. The flavor is a light zesty orange, huge malty sweetness, caramel, low bitterness, spicy rye. More of a barley wine almost. Really sweet and tasty.

355m bottle thanks to Lewis. Pours a dark honey colour with a decent white head. The nose is honey and eventually the nuttiness comes through. The taste has pecan pie. The palate is light to medium in body and as expected the finish is a little on the sweet side. A decent example of a brown ale but not excited enough to want another, should it be available.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a quickly dissipating tan head. No lacing.. Roasted malt aroma. Fairly thin and astringent, but the flavors are nice - caramel and raisin notes.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. From the easter bif. Pours a light brown with a half finger off-white head. Aroma of roasty nuts and caramel. Taste is light sweet. Roasty nuts and a good dose of dark caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. Pretty unique brew.
