Lazy Magnolia is Mississippi’s oldest packaging brewery, and the first one since prohibition was enacted in 1907. We’ve been offering locally brewed beer to Mississippians since we were founded in September of 2003.

Pours clear amber color with off white head. Toasted malt and pine aroma with some caramel. Lightly sweet toasted malt flavor with a hint of bitter pine. Medium body with average carbonation.

Smell of syrup. Dark bronze colour, small beige head. Aroma of sugar, roasted malt, caramel, nuts (pecan?). Sweet. Slightly oily. Lively carbon, but diminishes quickly.

Pours clear, honey-gold with a soft white head. Yeast, lemon aroma, slightly musty.... Flavour is nicely citrusy, a little grain. Slightly herbal bittering. Pretty good.

Bottle. Caramel malt and piney orange hops aroma. Slightly hazy orange with a large ivory head. Piney-herbal-orange hops, and bready caramel malt flavor. Body on the light side of medium, average carbonation.

Bottle. Sweet fruity honey malt aroma. Clear copper with a large ivory head. Light honey and bready malt flavor with a very light grassy finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. It is what it’s supposed to be, a light easy drinking blonde, and nothing offensive.

Pours cloudy, dark amber-orange with a cascading tall head. Aroma is caramel, bread heel, rye malt. Taste is spicy rye malt. Fairly strong leafy/herbal bitter. Just a bit of alcohol prescence. Slightly on the harsh side.

Pours nearly clear amber with a heavy, off-white head. Aroma is malty, bready, honeyed... Taste is soft, sweet malt, honey... A very slight bitter at the finish.... Decent.

Clear, bubbly mahogany/wooden brown with a short tan head. Aroma is sugar and bread. Taste is sweet caramel, bread, nuts. Molasses/syrup taste, but light.... Tasty and a little different.... Just wish it had a heavier body.
