Bottle shared late night RBWG. Pours pale yellow with a few bubbles. Very watery. Not very sweet. Not much honey. Faint spices. Medium bodied, flat. Somewhat dry to finish, minimal honey character. Poor mead.

Bottle at ratebeer WG. Pours a clear gold with a tan head that dissipates tithe edges. Aroma has a earthy grain and grass note with a bit of must. Flavor is similar with hay, grain and earthy grass.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, creamy long lasting light brown head, very dark brown but not completely opaque, aroma of mollases, dark bread and some pruness, dark chocolate, and some sweet potatoes in the back, flavour of coffee, mocha and charred wood, quite dry, light bodied,. the aroma promises much, the flavour dissapoints. Fair.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. As Jeff Stout. Black, not completely opaque, with a tan head. Lovely aroma of milk chocolate and nice roasted sweet potato notes. Sweetish flavor, kinda thin, a bit milky, with some roastiness, vegetal notes and some mocha. Mediuim-bodied.

Draft at the source, part of the $10 tour. This is the older version that uses Zythos hops, the new version has Galaxy. Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of subtle fruit. Taste is bittersweet fruit. A bit plain.

This was described to me as a cask of Southern Gentleman that was returned to the brewery as sour, and is now being marketed as a sour beer. Draft at the source, part of the $10 tour. Cloudy amber color, thick white head. Aroma of caramel and subtle butterscotch, vanilla. Taste is softly sour, lacto, light caramel. Tasty. Serendipitous.

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Hazy deep golden with a frothy white head. Pleasant aroma of citric and piney hops.Flavor has some maltiness, a bit sweetish, slightly caramelly, citric and piney hops and a nice lingering bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A good IPA.
