Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Tap at Gourmet Haus. Clear copper-gold with full white head. Moderate citrus and pine. Moderate high bitterness really overpowered the lower ABV.

The beer is a tan yellow color, quite pale. It’s completely clouded over to opacity. The aroma is yogurty with delicate tropical and citrus flavors. The orange is juicy and sweet. The kiwi is milder but adds a very nice delicate complexity. Light, fresh malt underneath everything. The taste is moderately sour. Nice lacto sourness. Big on the orange peel. Juicy juice fruitiness. More of that kiwi sweetness. Light and super refreshing. Easy to put away. Light pucker. I hope that they make more Berliners because this one is a success.

The beer is a pale yellow color. It’s clouded through. Solid enough, white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is citrus with a touch of tropical flavor and mild stone fruit. Grapefruit, orange, peach, pineapple, mango. Pretty standard Cellarmaker stuff going on, which definitely isn’t bad. Taste is light and a bit milder than expected. Really, the beer is milder than expected overall from the deScription. Good but mild. Just a very mild malt flavor with nice hoppy notes. Citrus and tropical flavors. More kiwi than normal. Light feel with a little bit of creaminess.

The beer is a pale yellow with a touch of tan. It’s clouded through, just a little bit translucent. Small to medium sized white head. Fades to a ring of a bubbles. A little bit of lacing. The aroma is full of juicy hop goodness. Sweet fruitiness abounds. The aroma is tangerine and pineapple juice with peach sweetness and a twist of lime peel. Milder berry depth. A touch of pine. Fresh, simple grain in the back. The taste has maybe light to moderate bitterness. Tons of hop flavor. Great mineral note gives it a pleasant astringency. The hops are sweet and juicy. Finish builds up the bitterness a bit, but this is a hop flavor bomb. Mouthfeel is light but creamy. Really good stuff.

The beer is a very dark brown with a smallish light brown head. Some lacing but most of the head fades pretty quick. The aroma is rich with coffee flavor. It’s full of chocolate with some berry and lemon zing. Very good. They’re getting great coffee flavors in this series. Mild caramel in the aroma and more in the taste. Light coffee acidity. Mild bitterness. Pretty easy to drink for all that coffee. Maybe a bit light overall but it showcases the coffee aroma very well. Light feel.
