The beer is a bright medium amber. Looks to be quite clear. The head is soapy and white. Lots of lacing but it mostly faded after a minute. The aroma is tropical with a heavy dank edge. Kiwi, guava, orange. There’s a hint of caramel malt in there. Taste has moderate to medium bitterness, building a bit in the finish. Taste also shows a bit of malt sweetness. Lots of hop flavor but doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Still, there’s a good amount of hop flavor. Feel shows off some of those hops. Medium body. Solid beer.

The beer is a pale orangey, yellow tan color. It’s quite hazy. Head is white and seems to have decent retention and lacing. Wonderfully fruity hop aroma. Lots of delicate tropical fruit flavors. Pretty juicy for the abv. Pineapple, kiwi, papaya, mango, melon, lime, tangerine. Pretty much the usual fruit flavor notes but it has a sweeter and more delicate tone than most from Cellarmaker. Very mild pepper. Taste is light and full of hop flavor. Quite good. Little to no malt presence. Mild to moderate bitterness. Just a big refreshing burst of hop fruitiness. Light mouthfeel. Normal carbonation. Very refreshing.

The beer is black. Just a thin ring of dark brown at the edges. The head is medium in size and a fairly dark brown. Looks fairly light otherwise. The aroma is surprisingly more chocolate than roast. There’s still a solid dose of fruity roast flavor. Coffee, mild caramel. The taste shows off the roast more. Big fruity, coffee-ish roasted malt flavor. Mild to medium sweet. Light bitterness in the finish. Nice and clean flavor. Very refreshing for a stout. Light mouthfeel. Easy to drink.

The beer is a medium orangey gold color. It’s quite cloudy, some clarity at the edges. Decent sized head, white. Some lacing. The aroma has a lot of light citrus bouncing around, mostly tangerine, lime peel and lemongrass. Light malt sweetness. Good dose of tropical hop fruitiness underneath the lime edge. Maybe a touch of ginger spice. Interesting but milder and more normal than expected. Taste is lightly sweet with mild bitterness. Lots of hop fruitiness but again I’m not getting a ton of the oddball ingredients. Bitterness picks up a bit in the finish with some grassy, citrus rind hop edge. Easy to drink. Medium-light body. A bit oily. Enjoyable if not quite what I expected.

The beer is a light yellow orange color. It’s very cloudy. Medium white head. Some lacing. The aroma hasa pleasant fresh cracker malt base with loads of fruity hops. Big citrus and tropical flavors. Tangerine, pineapple, orange, mango, papaya, raspberry, lemon. Lightly bitter. Fairly dry. Nice mineral character. Juicy hop flavors abound. Good stuff. Nice mouthfeel. Medium body but quite light. Excellent beer.

On draught at Ale Arsenal. Dankness to the nth degree! Holy cow this is all dank and bitter. Moderate low amounts of onion in both the aroma and flavor. Beautiful clear deep gold with full white head and limited patterns down the side. Taste is identical to the aroma. Tongue scrapper and a little difficult to get down. Love the brewer but not this interpretation of the style.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is strong with coconut and a little coffee. The flavor has gigantic notes of toasted coconut and coffee. Hints of cola and cocoa, but still pretty rich on the palate. Lower carbonation. Huge nutty, coconut finish.

On cask at the brewery. It pours black with a light brown head. The aroma is nice and smoky with strong coffee and berries. The flavor is velvety on the palate with good smoke, coffee and cocoa. Bready with berry-like coffee notes and a hint of creamer. Tasty, and a great treatment.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a weird looking hazy salmon/gray color. Yeast haze? Small white head. The aroma has grapefruit, soft bready yeast and hints of acid. The flavor is creamy and lactic with some barrel, vanilla and funk. Very mild tartness and yeast presence. Grapefruit, grapes and a little soap in the finish. Ok. Not super impressed.

On draft at the brewery. It pours a clear light gold color with a white head. The aroma is earthy and tropical. Equal parts. Nice grass and coconut notes as well. The flavor has more of the same with tropical fruit, grass and mild hints of coconut. Clean bitterness. I really love the Southern Passion hops. Count me as a fan.
