Description
Fonta Flora Brewery integrates the soul of agriculture with the artisanship of zymurgy to create a menagerie of rustic and savory libations. With an emphasis on seasonal flora, Fonta Flora brings English tradition and Belgian inspiration to the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.

Fonta Flora utilizes local artists to help conceptualize the notion that fermentation is yet another medium for creating art. This uniquely artisan approach to beer yields a sustainable product filled with culture from our very own community.

Lots of chocolate covered raisin notes, malty vanilla and chocolate, some tequila tang and bite at the finish and lingering a bit, maybe, hard to tell! It's tasty!

Reminds me a lot of black Tuesday meets Christmas bomb but no cinnamon and way less abv, nice dry stout with notes of chocolate and nutmeg hints on the nose and flavor.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/02/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, grapefruit, melon, mandarin.
Taste comprises orange zest, pineapple, grapefruit, pine nip, melon, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA but getting a little off putting soapy note at the curtain call.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, quite a forward creamy sweetness that could have been a tad to much in a less well hopped brew but not here, hops a plenty! Soft pine and a fairly aggressive hop spice kick in immediately. Floral candy fruits from modern Mosaic but quite ramped up here. El Dorado Sakura on the back end, again quite ramped up from its normal subtleness. A Riwaka like tropical fruits thing before the light finish. Hop spice keeps nibbling away long after the swallow. Different and bloody good.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Citrussy aroma with ginger (but not overpowering), tart and light salty, light bready grain. Hint of paprika, lemon, dough. Medium body. Refreshing and sourish, very nice.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Smells like paint, the aroma is bold raspberry which leaves little room for the watermelon. Lovely dark and red fruit tones. Body is medium. Tart with big fruits, good despite the smell.
