Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.

Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.

Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Purchased at Half Acre Brewery in Chicago, IL; enjoyed with a good friend while watching game 7 of the World Series. Appearance pale yellow, slightly cloudy, thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, touch of citrus, smells light. Taste is crisp and light, definite grapefruit, light hops, crisp, slightly refreshing. This is a session ale, but at $8 a bomber it’s a bit steep.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Masterski. Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Sweet and clean malty nose. Solid and clean malt base with some pleasant grassy hops that don’t leave much bitterness. Very clean and stright drinking. 180911

Growler via a trade. Pours with a black body and a large tan head with good lace and pretty decent retention. Aroma has an odd styrofoam quality, but past that there is chocolate, some fruit, citrus, orange and some esters. Malt bill is a bit on the prominent side of things. Flavors of chocolate, an odd grape character, fruit, citrus, tangerine, lightly grassy. Only a medium bitterness, with a dry finish and medium carbonation.
