Cask at the Hole in the Wall, Brighton on 23rd May 2026. Hazy pale lemon yellow with white foam and full lacing. Tropical and citrus fruits on the nose. Spiced citrus in-mouth and a grassy citrus finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

hand pulled half pint at the York Tap on 20th May 2026. Nice, easy going West Coast IPA, piney hops followed by a little citrus fruit bite.

One of two Coleys on at the pumps. Extremely hazy dishwater coloured golden I guess. It matters little in appearance though as this is easy and fruity, and pretty good for its low session strength. It feels fuller, mainly through its well stated tropical notes.

Number six on my beer trail mix this evening. Hazy brown colour, end of barrel and probably the last full pour of this one at the pub, with quite a frothy off-white head for it. Perfectly fine though with gritty enough dark malts usurped but not eliminated by tropical and exotic notes. These are evident in both aroma and taste. This beer is one of two collaborations between the brewers both called trail mix, a white and black IPA.

Cask at Wellington, Brum. Dark and glossy. Foamy tan head. Aroma had creamy and coffee with a slightly sour edge. Flavourwise we have a sweet core with hints of bitterness and vaguely sour edge. But it's muted. Develops cardboard into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Attempting some creamy elements but falls well short. Average carbonation. Limp Stout.
