Draught. Pale gold with a white head that lasts OK. Aroma of plain bread, light spices. Taste is not going to knock any socks off. Sweet but clean light bready malt, some floral and spicy notes at the slightly bitter finish. Dull but fine (apart from the apostrophe).

Can from the Garden. Drank straight from the can. Not much aroma on the nose, maybe some faint berries and light caramel. Watery mouthfeel with a thin body and average carbonation. Caramel syrup and some light graham cracker. Everything is muted. Not as awful as other beers in this series, but what’s the point? --- Beer merged from original tick of Craft Select Amber Ale on 24 Dec 2015 at 18:56 - Score: 4. Bottle from Family Mart. Grainy aromas with some grassy hops. Nice peppery, bitterness on the palate with some grass and scratchy grain. Leans a little more bitter than malty, but some sweetness is there. Finishes dry with some light sweetness. Really not bad at all...overpriced though. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Premium Malts Master's Dream on 21 Dec 2015 at 20:26 - Score: 6. Original review text: Really not bad. In fact good peppery bitterness. A tad sweet as it warms, but not bad.

Can. Citrus nose, orange, grapefruit, a bit spicy, but of grass and flower and light biscuity malt. Gold with orange tints, thick medium head. Spicy, fruity flavor, oranges, biscuits, somewhat strangely spicy, with sage or chamomile. Decent hops, though. The yeasty spice character is a bit Belgian in character. Crisp, though just a bit too sweet. Not great, but not nearly as bad as so many people are saying. I’d have another.

Can from Lawson. Drank straight from the can. Cardboard, light fruit esters, peach and stale malt. Malty with a strange off-flavor...plastic maybe? Lager like in a way with some slight kolsch moves. Body is somehow watery with an almost cloying finish. This is not an IPA in any sense of the definition on top of that it is just not a good beer. One of the worst in this series. --- Beer merged from original tick of Craft Select India Pale Ale on 16 Dec 2015 at 19:35 - Score: 2. Original review text: Is this a fucking joke? IPA じゃない....あとは全然美味しくない.....

Can. Industrial, candy caramel nose, bit pf cherry, weak malt, no hops. A bit grassy maybe. Pale, thin amber color. Light, thin flavor, a bit of caramel, candy, prickly hop bitterness. Does not taste bad, just dull. Thin body. This series is one fail after another.

Can. Nose of chocolate, spice, and some coffee. Hazy dark brown with orange tints and a tall, airy head. Thin, light flavor of chocolate, grains, sugar. Thin body, ok drinkable flavor but not at all good.

Drank out of a spigleau pilsner glass, which I think gave it too little carbonation. Beautiful golden color with decent head. The nose is too main stream and I wouldn’t say that the hops jump out too much. Moderately bitter. I found nothing really special about this vs. regular Premium Malts

Can from Aeon, served in my footed Pilsner glass. Spicy green Saaz hop aroma with sweet crackery light malts.
The taste is crackers, soda bread & light bright white pepper/spicy green hoppiness. Crisp & easy to drink.
They can do this and yet mess up new styles each month with their craft select series?

Can from Aeon, served in my Stout glass. It pours a dark reddish-brown with a light beige head. The mouthfeel is watery and it has quite a low carbonation. The aroma is fruity (plums) with just hints of roastiness and chocolate. The taste is roasty, fruity and bittersweet chocolate. All in all it isn’t a bad beer but it is in no way an Imperial Stout. Label it a porter and it’d have gotten a warmer reception.
