Can. A golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, vitamins, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and boring hops, leading to a dry finish.

Can@Tuesday Taphouse Share, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is pretty much non existent, very watery, faint notes of malt and fruit, dish water.

35 cl can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and grassy. Grassy and slight toasted malty. Mild cornish, sweet and toasted malty. Mild fruity and toasted malty finish.

Suntory Golden Ale 5% They nailed the color. It is indeed a bright clear Gold with a think off-white head that has decent staying power. The aroma is too sweet, grainy, lemon and some odd glue like or plasticine/paste character. It reminds me of putting up wall paper, not unpleasant really but definitely weird in a beer. The flavor is similarly odd, plasticine, chalky, grainy, too sweet but the finish is crisp & fairly dry. Not horrible but not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ok. Finally got a can from Aeon Mall. Nose is sweet and rich malts. I get lactose, chocolate, vanilla, and something like candy toffee. Some root beer in there too. It isn’t terrible, but not impressive either. We’ll generously call it a 6. Hazy almost-black, low, fine head. Flavor is sweet and candy-like. Really. That’s about it. Some vanilla, but not much real chocolate, and nothing like the roasted flavor of coffee. Lame. And the body is weak ass. Everyone knows this is not Imperial. But actually, this isn’t even a stout! It’s just an industrial brown ale.

Can from Aeon Mall. Not as much hop nose as the lager. More biscuity malt, fruity esters. Clear golden with a high, pillowy head. Sweet, fruity malt, oranges, pears, biscuit, some peach. Nice fruit flavors, but the hops are hidden behind the ale esters. Also a bit too thick, sweet, almost cloying. Ok, but not near as good a the lager, which is what they know how to do.

Can from Aeon Mall. Lovely Zatec nose, rich bready malt behind it. Clear, deep golden color, with a high, airy head. Well hopped flavor, a bit perfumy, grass, herbs, citrus. Good bitterness. Nice malt backing. Very bitter and crisp. Well done.

Bottle half-off at Liquor Mountain. 4% very pale yellow with a fizzy white head. The nose is lemon soda, the taste is the same though it has an artificial character and yes fucking aspartame- I hate artificial sugar. Drain pour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Tokyu Grocery. Roasted malt aromas with some light chocolate as it warms. Super thin porter-like body with a lot of carbonation. Watery finish with some light roasted malt that lingers. All marketing here, where the conversation went like this: "hey, imperial stout is a trending word in craft beer, let’s call this black beer an imperial stout"...smh more like LIMPerial stout. --- Beer merged from original tick of Craft Select Imperial Stout on 12 Nov 2015 at 18:56 - Score: 5. Original review text: A very average Porter. Nothing imperial or stout about this. At least it was drinkable.

Can from Family Mart. Similar nose to the pumpkin (did they not clean the tanks or what?) with some grass and cardboard. Taste is harshly grassy with a sharp metal blade like bitterness. Overly carbonated for the style. Dumped after 3 drinks. Nope. --- Beer merged from original tick of Craft Select Golden Ale on 06 Nov 2015 at 22:07 - Score: 3
