Brass coloured with a very weak head. Bubblegum and blueberry aroma. Somewhat sourish blueberry flavour, like blueberry youghurt! Thin and watery finish.

Golden colour with a pink-ish tint. OK head. Light rasberry aroma. Very sparkling mouth-feel. Thin and watery with vague raspberry flavour.

A clear orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is of blueberries and wheat. The flavor is sweet and like bubblegum with blueberry flavor - and the body is thin.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a slight white head that fades fast. Aroma of stale wheat, coriander seed and a tiny bit of sweetness. Light to Medium-bodied; Funky malt taste with some subtle spices and an unpleasant alcohol burn. Aftertaste shows the bad cardboard and off-tastes in this beer and pretty much none of any good qualities. Overall, this beer should be passed up in favour of any other Sea Dog beers. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Trader Joe’s in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia on 13-December-2004.

Crystal clear orange coloured body with some light amber highlights and a very thin off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, old hops, strong nutmeg and even some light squash/pumpkins. Super-Light-bodied; Slight sweet taste up front with some slightly sour tastes following behind. Subtle spices finish the taste showing cinnamon and nutmeg. Aftertaste is just as light with some light sugars and subtle malt finishing the beer. Overall, a decent beer but not as good as the IPA! I’d rather try any other pumpkin rather than this one, but for less than a dollar, it isn’t horrible at all! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia on 24-November-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Nice dark brown coloured body-not opaque with a thin off-white head that fades fast. Aroma of hazlenuts (no surprise), peanuts, roasted malt, toffee and some subtle raisins. Light-bodied; Pale malt taste with a small amount of nuttyness. No sweetness & no other tastes at all. Aftertaste is bland-no signs of a porter, just a subtle sweetness & maltiness. Overall, not such a great beer-didn’t live up to the small hype I heard about it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased for under $1 at Trader Joe’s in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia on 24-November-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

2004 bottle. Pours a light yellow, foamy white head, bubbly and clear. Aroma of light vanilla, slight pie spice and a touch of pumpkin meat. Flavor begins with some light malt sweetness followed by a good pumpkin flavor that sticks around. Almost a creamy sweetness with notes of vanilla and sugar. Bubbly mouthfeel, and extra light bodied, but somehow, I seem to like it. It isnt overly spiced, it concentrates more on the malt and pumpkin flavor, which is a big plus in my book.

Clear amber/copper coloured body with a dense tan head at first, fading to just a small off-white cap after a few minutes. Aroma of english hops, pale malt, toffee, burnt sugars and some soap. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with noticeable caramel flavours roaming throughout. Subtle grape and pit fruit tastes come out in the aftertaste, but not too largely. Overall, a nice beer, more of an EPA or a ESB rather than an IPA, but good to try. A great pickup at Trader Joe’s for under $1 (remember you can do that with any bottles). I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Trader Joe’s in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia on Election Night (02-November-2004).

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a small white head. Aroma of pure fresh raspberries with some light malt & sugars. Ultra-light Bodied; Mild raspberry taste with some cherries and malt thrown in the mix. No hops nor malt, truly a ’fruit beer’. Overall, not one to drink unless plenty of chicks are present to finish this one off! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beers of the World in Rochester, New York on 28-August-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Thanks to Darkover for the trade. This beer is a dark brown color with a slight ruby tint. Thick and rocky light beage head and light lacing. The aroma is roasted and nutty, with some malt as well. Medium-bodied with a harsh hops character at the forefront. Hazelnut, malt and coffee are all overpowered by the bitter quality in the flavor. The finish is also harshly bitter at times making it hard to enjoy this beer. Not sure if this is an off bottle but I am not a fan of this beer.
