[1/26/17] Draught at HenHouse Brewing in Santa Rosa. Golden. Yeast, flowers, spiciness, a bit soapy. Kinda dry, bitter finish.

Can. It pours an orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some peach and mango with noticeable toffee-like malts. The flavor is the same with some touches of citrus and tropical fruit. A little toffee sweetness with solid bitterness. Nice soft mouthfeel. Pretty good, but I wasn’t digging the light toffee notes in this one.

From tap at Liquid Gold, San Francisco. Black color with off white head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate and coffee, nutty. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Draft pour sampled at Steele & Hops. Shared by a friend, thanks Ed! Hazy golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, tropical fruit. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, light floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Good stuff.

Tap at Jupiter. Probably pours clear amber, Jupiter is too dark to really say. Aroma is mostly strong malts, some booze and candy, some spices. Body is heavy, with a low carbonation and a strong malty bitterness towards the palate. Warming, light booze again. Feels like a barley wine/dubbel crossover. OK.

On tap at Local Barrel. Pours a hazy orange yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is onion and cucumber. Medium body, onion, grass, bitter finish, good.
