Draught @ CBC’15
Aroma is odd with sugar, honey and sweaty tones. Flavour is sweet with sugar, honey, some bourbon notes and some toasted sugar. Finishes with some bitterness and warming alcohol. These oversweet meads are not for me.

Draught @ CBC 2015

Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of fruits, bourbon, wood, vanilla, toffee and oak. Taste is sweet, syrupy and heavy with honey, oak, wood and vanilla. Finish is sweet, oaky and woody with loads of honey, vanilla and bourbon. Quite untypical but tasty.

Small 3-4 ounce sample of this one in a trade. Stoked to finally try it. Pours a dense thick syrupy blue and purple. Major alcohol legs. Aroma is very boozy, almost grain-alcohol like with a ton of blueberry, currant, oak. Grape-like. very sweet. taste, also quite boozy, maybe needs some time to chill out in the cellar but the blueberry and chocolate are unmistakable and very present. Lingering blueberry finish. Really impressive.
