Bottle sample @ Troy’s Bday tasting @ Stein & Vine. Couleur pourpre, acajou, doré au verre. Arôme au bouquet prenant de fruits noirs et rouges, tirant pas mal vers le vin rouge. Palais est épais, vin rouge, raison, fini sec avec un palais restant réchauffant et un fini visqueux cloying de miel. Le boisé reste moyen ajoutant un léger tannin.

1L flip-top bottle sample @ Troy’s Bday tasting @ Stein & Vine. Couleur pourpre. Arôme de pomme caramélisée avec pas mal de myrtilles. Retrouve une fine astringence des pommes qui se mélange bien au côté plus aigrelet des myrtilles. Palais offre une belle palette de pomme caramélisée, fini aigre avec un accompagnement fruité des myrtilles, pointe astringente presque râpeux en bouche des pommes. Je note peu l’impacte du miel tout comme celui du murissage en barrique.

Bottle @ Saturday night tasting - The Stein & Vine. Batch 1801, Bottle 5/100 thanks Tchaos. Pourpre profond, collant au verre. Arôme profond de myrtille, généreux avec un agréable rétro adouci de chocolat blanc. Les baies sont dominantes et tout bonnement superbes. Palais est fruité, baies myrtilles, léger tannin avec ici aussi une belle douceur de chocolaté blanc sans tomber dans le surfait. Sorte de dessert liquide avec une fine pointe aigrelette des myrtilles qui perce en fin de bouche.

Tap@CBC2015, Red Session - pours amber with no head. Aroma and taste is very sweet with honey, caramel, lime, some blueberries, sweet finish.
