Bottle. Beware! Big gusher. Color: Hazy brownish red, no head. Aroma: Tart, caramel malt, vinuous. Like a Flemish Brown. Taste: Vinuous, red wine, moderate to over moderate tart, forest fruit, some caramel and minerals. Quite thin body. Under medium body, low carbonation. Interesting, nice although I expected a little more, but that's just my expectations after searching for beer of this brewery for a quite long period.

Shortlived white head over veiled golden-ochre beer. Sour apricot, peach, white grape, estery, bit of solvent. Apricot returning, apricot liqueur, with a spicy, almost bitterish retronasal flavour. Vinous character, with quite some wineacids. Seems lighter than it is, feels better carbonated than its looks, fruitslick, grapeskins feel and flavour. This is where Heilig Hart excells!

Small cream-amber head, fairly stable over cloudy red-brown beer. Vinous nose, (white) chocolate, grapes in molten chocolate, liqueurish, even perfumey, almondy. Vinous, sweet almonds, rosewater. Bit (red) grapes, if faint. Again faint (white) chcolate. Bit overripe grapes too, alas, nearly rotting. Finish has a combination of fruitsugars and acidic carbonation. Complex, but not quite balanced. Quite carbonated (amphora?!), long acidity, medium bodied, bit slick. Not bad, good idea, probably, but the result shows some, minor, loose ends.

Transparant rim for a few seconds, then clear orange-golden beer, still. Delicate sourish nose, as sour apples, crab- or shrubapples. Wild animal aroma. Again this wild animal, wet dog in the flavour, velvet; some fruit, some apples, rhubarb, sorrel. Very light body, light acidthinning, lipsmacking acidity; as good as no carbonation. Delicate, original, unusual. Guys, keep to the wild side, and leave the dubbels/tripels for those brewing for the underinitiated.

Medium off-white head over hazy orange beer. Bit solvent/glue, fruitacids, citrus, some sugar, faintly herbal (thyme?), rubber, mint. Cakebottom, citrus, speculoosherbs; rubber is there retronasal. After some time, mushrooms, brown champignons. Quite slick. Aftertaste has again glue. Good carbonation. Rather unbalanced, yet somehow better than the sum of its parts. Most remarkable is that it changes odours/flavours all the time, almost never settling. Must be the dreambeer for Alengrin.
