Sample at Greenville Beer Exchange. Slightly hazy ruby-bronze color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle shared by Chalumeaux, thanks TJ! Aroma is coconut flakes, vanilla, and chocolate. Roasted backbone with bold coffee, mild vanilla, and some wood flavors. A tad smoky. A lot of depth of flavors. For 10 % ABV, not boozy at all. Real nice!

Bold coffee, mild vanilla, light smoke, really nice flavors. Thank you Robyn.

Decent, a tad bready and lacking the oily, lengthy bitterness of a classic West Coast IPA, but the modest caramel sweetness goes well with the grapefruit-n-pinecone hop profile, and the fade does grow resinous, even if it shies away from bitter brutality.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with tropical fruit and grapefruit. The flavor was sweet with fruit cocktail, grapefruit and tropical fruit. Long finish. Medium bodied and very smooth.

Bottle: Dark, cloudy brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, raisin, molasses. Sweet and slightly smoky raisin malt, chocolate malt, caramel malt. A twinge of alcohol warmth. Great body......and a great sipper.

Ruby color. Taste is like a slightly sweet and milder stout with a mild coffee finish

Got in a BIF from Dragginballs76. 12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lime zest, chili pepper, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of lime zest, chili peppers, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lime zest, chili pepper, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lime zest, chili pepper, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of lime zest, chili peppers, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors with no fruity/yeasty notes. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Mild increasing pepper heat through the glass, but not overwhelming. Overall this is an excellent fruited Vienna lager! All around great robustness and balance of lime zest, chili peppers, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Clean Pils/Vienna malts, with perfectly balanced lime/pepper flavors; and mild earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Got in a BIF from Dragginballs76. 16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 4/11/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Good appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, plum, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of caramel, nuttiness, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, plum, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of caramel, nuttiness, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, plum, pear, melon, red apple, cracker, toasted bread, light caramel/nutty, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and fairly bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. Pretty thin, but not too watery. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a good ESB. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Definitely could use less carbonation, and stronger dark/bready malt character. Well balanced English yeast, malts, and hops. A nicely enjoyable offering, and good style example otherwise.
