Can 33cl. @home poured into a tasting glass, Hazy straw colour, good soapy white head, slowly dissipating, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, orange pith, grapefruit, ananas. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, ananas, grapefruit, orange peel,resinous hops. Light body, watery to oily texture, (very) dry bittersweet aftertaste, resinous and mineral notes, on the harsh, okay.

A: hazy red, small, foamy, pink head.
A: pralines, cherry, raspberry coulis, children's yoghurt, red candy.
T: sweet-sour cherry, red candy, jam, touch of chocolate.
F: tart cherry, yoghurt & jam.
P: medium body, slick-sticky texture, average carbonation.
Just a tad too sticky, perhaps a bit more body could have helped out here.

Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze.

Taste comprises chocolate shavings, brown sugar melt, toffee, cognac barrel, molasses, dark malts.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of alcohol.
Solid sipper.

Can, Day 5 of my Mr Hop beer advent calendar from their webshop, Venray, Netherlands, I'm clearly a few days behind with this one. Consumed this Friday 12th December 2025, cooking Thomasina Miers Picadillo (Mexican Chile) however this is for other meals, we we're actually having Dishoom Masala Prawns and another curry of Masala Chicken with Pulau Rice and Poppadoms and Raita, however after the poppadoms, pickle tray, raita etc we were full 🤣. 🎧 to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours pitch black with a light tan head that soon departs into the inky depths. Light coffee, vanilla and roasted malts dominate the aroma. These three also come through in the mouth, which is creamy and thick, however their presence here is a little more subtle. It's a touch sweet and a little bit boozy at times, but it's certainly not in yer' face and is pretty decent. Score 7.1

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light malty and hoppy and acdetic aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
The flavor is a bit artificial, but overall it is a very smooth freeze-distilled beer with 18% ABV well hidden under layers of coffee and candy.
