An orange beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light touches of caramel and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with a light caramel touch, leading to a dry bitter end. Thanks MiP.

Bottle. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour, big stable white head. The flavour has apple acidity and fruitiness, a bit cidery. Strange, I am not sure if this is off or not.

Bottle. Quite cloudy golden colour. Small unstable white head. Banana aroma, a little rough hoppiness. The flavour also has banana with some driness to it. Slight sourness in aftertaste, from the hops.

Bottle. No aroma. Clear, nice brown colour. Big, stable light brown head. The flavour is quite nice: sweet, roasted and slightly dusty. Nicely alcohol warming. Good mouthfeel, pleasant carbonation. Essentially a nice malty doppelbock.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a foamy beige medium-sized head. Shy but not unpleasant aroma of dark malty, light toasty and fruity notes, shy hoppy background. Light-sweet flavour, toasty malty taste with toffee and soft notes of caramel; light to medium body, a tad too much carbonation. Toasty malty taste, slightly grainy with caramel; quite dry and bitter malty finish with a hoppy blend. Not bad but it has not much character.

(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light sweet, slightly fruity and toasty malty nose, faint hints of hops. Sweet flavour, medium body, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Malty, slightly grainy, faint fruity and caramelly taste; medium dry malty, light hoppy, somewhat herbal finish. Average Märzen, which fits rather to the soccer qualities during the tournament but not to the enthusiastic festivities around the Soccer World Cup 2006.
