Old notes from Aug 2017 - 500ml bottle, a gift from a friend who visited Devon. Poured at home in Jersey, It's deep chestnut with a white head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate, strawberry, resinous & malt. Very enjoyable.

Old review from 2021 - 500ml bottle from Morisons in Totnes on last years Devon trip. Poured back in Jersey, it's amber with a tiny white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, citrus, hints of orange & pale malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Pretty average bitter

500ml bottle brought back from my trip to Devon last September. BBE - 26-02-22. Pours a very flat amber with zero head. Aromas & tastes of sweet caramel & biscuit. Moderate body. Sweet flat finish. Disappointed & going to be difficult to finish

Bottle conditioned beer from Melbecks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Pours cloudy amber with moderate sized white head. Aroma of floral and zesty hop notes. Taste is floral and grassy, somewhat resinous, zesty notes and some spice, moderate bitterness and malt in the finish. Light to medium bodied, semi-dry. Solid bitter.
