Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is clean hops, citrus, fruity, lightly sweet. Decently carbonated body. Flavor is fruity, citrus, lightly herbal, sweet, a bit tropical. Shocked by this one. 4.2% and packed with this much flavor and a balanced hop profile. One of the best session style beers I’ve had.

Location: Draft at Brass Rail, 1/15/13
Aroma: Lots going on, with roast, yeast, some spice, chocolate, and caramel, among other things
Appearance: Pours a unclear brown color with a frothy, lasting, beige head and heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is much like the nose, with a lot going on between the malts, yeast, and spice
Palate: This one has a medium-plus body, it drinks fairly creamily, with a tingly finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was pretty solid for sure. It had a bunch of different things happening, and all the components may not work perfectly together, but they work together pretty well. Interesting beer.

Update 9/10/14 - Now that it is canned, this has become a go-to for me, and the rating deserves an update. It's a wonderful session beer for the pool or a BBQ. (4.2: 8/4/8/5/17)
Location: Draft at Brass Rail, 12/28/12
Aroma: The nose is citrusy, with some German yeast, grapefruit, grass, pine, and grainy notes
Appearance: Pours a hazed yellow color with a frothy white head that coats the glass in lace
Flavor: The flavor is mid-sweet, it has crisp, clean flavors, with a nice medium bitter finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, it drinks really cleanly, not watery at all, rather refreshing
Overall Impression: I was really rather impressed by this one. It has most everything I look for in a "boat beer.". I don't think they can this, but if they did, a cooler full of this would be great for any tailgate, boat trip, or the like. Well done! Original Rating: 3.9: 7/4/8/4/16

Keg at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, fluffy white head. Nice nose with lots of dry citrus, herbs and toasted grass. Light to medium sweet flavor with lots of gritty, dirty straw, dry and ripe orange and lemon rinds, grass, flowers, herbs. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation and chewy texture. Decently resinous to finish with some sticky grass, dirt, raw pine, dandelions, medium sweetness. Lasting bitter flowers and grass. A fair DIPA.
