Following PINT-information, all Jopen beers are currently brewed at Van Steenberge brewery, Belgium. Ochre colour with amber shine. Slim white head. Nose is diacetyl and coriander. Sweet taste. Perfumed like Basmati rice. Diacetyl. Diacetyl gives false sweetness and fuller mouthfeel. Poor. Not something Van Steenberge should be proud of.

Sampled at Utrechts Bokbierfestival: Nut-brown color. Spicy, grainy aroma. Bit sour, spicy taste. Refreshing, long lingering palate. Excellent bock!

Pale yellow color, bit cloudy. Grainy aroma, some hops. Spicy hoppy taste, sweet, sour, some apple. Refreshing palate.

Muddy brown; fruity (plum, apple), malty, some candyish notes. Slight wood and heavy yeast. Very odd bock.

Golden; good Norman cider notes in the nose - odd, but what the hell. Leather, earth, apple, hop, with a sweet kiss of malts.

B3K: Cloudy brown, sourish, herbs (sweet gale, sage, thyme), lots of malt and alcohol, quite swee (No hops!). Fruit notes include pears, apricots and plums. Interesting, if nothing else.

Light and refreshing beer. Compare it with Wheat beers indeed, but it misses some flavour compared to the great wheats, like Hoegaarden. It's a bit more watery. I wonder who added this beer and didn't rate it?
