Per the commercial description, no. No it’s not reminiscent of an IPA. It has a modest hop nose if at all, a bit of straw. Somewhat clean sweetish grainy flavor, no hop flavors, almost no finishing bitterness. Empty flavor. Not a watery body thankfully, and surprisingly given the low ABV. I get the vaguest hint of strawberry somehow, so maybe not so clean afterall. Anyway, it’s kind of pointless. When I want a light lager (which is mostly never), I’m not gonna pay craft beer prices for it.

On tap at Seven’s, Beacon Hil, Boston. A clear, amber colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is malty, bready and citrusy with some pine cones. It’s lightly bitter on the palate, with some pale malts as a backdrop. Pine cones and citrus peel. Medium to full body, dry and a tad heavy on the carbonation. Light bitter, citrusy finish. Rather boring, but sort of quenching and at least it drinks easy. 150609

Pours a straw from a can. Aroma is corn, flavor is likewise a skunky lagerish corn, kind of a letdown from Cisco.

Bottle at 10k tasting. Fine citrus nose. Taste sof hoppy pine, lemon amd grapefruit, grassy as well. Standard session IPA palate and flavors nothing all that special beer wise but a great cause if it’s for ALS in anyway.

Bottle split at Bruces pad - for the last time, big thanks to LKS, 27/03/15. Hazed orange golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is lemon rind, tarte apricot, buttery notes - but not in a bad way, pissy tones. Taste comprises light funk, atraw, apricot yoghurt, citric zest, peach, tangerine, tarte fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a funky soured fruit wash. Decent approachable sour.
