I don’t know where this one goes wrong exactly, but it does. Thin, skunky, anemic yellow, bitter without needing to be.

Bottle. Opens with a nice balanced malty aroma with just enough aromatic hops. Pours with a thin head and large bubbles, off-white color. Beer is a rich brown, nice and clear. Begins to fall apart upon the first sip, taste is not as balanced as the aroma, aromatic hops disappear, and roasted maltiness fades into the background. All that’s left is a bitterness on the back end. The mouthfeel is thin and disappointing. Not horrible, but not recommended.

12oz can. Pale yellow-tan body, filtered. Lots of carbonation bubbles rising up to meet a fluffy white head. The aroma is pretty plain, some brewhouse malt and yeast notes. Not so impressive, pretty much tastes like a macro lager...maybe a touch creamier malt body..not unlike a Cream Ale. OK....it is better than a crappy macro, but still rather uninspired. Not one I’d go back for more of. Decent enough if you are looking for a light lager certainly.

Pours deep mahogany into a Trappist glass. Tan head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sour vegetable aromas. Bitter, earthy candy corns and earth upfront turning to licorice before the lasting birch bark finish. This one is really not that good...
