12oz bottle pours a clear, burnt orange with some thin, white head. Nose is interesting, from afar it has quite a bit of spice - cinnamon/nutmeg/powdered ginger, up close it has some root veg, some carrot, some spaghetti squash, some odditities too like tomato and celery seed. Flavor has a lot more tomato, a little ketchup, a little waxy, some root veg, white pepper, coriander. Slim finish. Strange.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown 2013 bottle corked and capped poured into a glass. Clear red with small off-white head. Aroma is nice strong sour, medium body, low/medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is sour, tart cherries, lemons, some oak, and long acidic finish. Complex, pretty easy to drink (although I understand this would be too sour for some), really flavorful, really enjoy this one.

Refrigerated 75-cl 2014 brown bottle corked and capped poured into a tulip. Slightly hazy light orange with big fluffy white head. Aroma is tart, medium body, well carbonated, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart, oak, and some white wine. Pretty good, but hoped for a little more.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 4, 15/08/14. Black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is dark malt, vegetal notes, earthy, touch of hoppage, a little washed out. Taste comprises chocolate, sweet licks, none of the veggy aroma coming through thankfully, light coffee, hoppy notes, faint citrics. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop notes. Ok - the nose let this one down a few notches, also a little overly sweet.

Bottle shared at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is floral, spice, citric peel, marjoram. Taste comprises lemon rind, spice, bready notes, orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style but nothing I’d rush back for.
