Pours dark amber with a thick white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is similar to that of an IPA with a complex variety of hops on the tongue. Palate is again similar to that of an IPA but with a distinctly malty aftertaste. Not bad.

750ml bottle thanks to Toby pours out straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice big tropical fruit oak sour tartness and some spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet tropical fruit kick of tartness and barrel.

Pours hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of cloves. Tastes like a wheat beer with slight banana notes. Palate includes cloves, nutmeg and earth notes. Good beer.

12 oz. can.Appearance has a slight hazy to it. Aroma and flavor are exactly what you would expect. Grapefruit balances the earthy, herbal hops. Mouthfeel and carbonation are normal. Overall, everything about this is average. Good enough for a refreshment at the beach.

From tap. Hazy orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, dank grassy, pine, tropical and citrus fruits. Light sweet fruity and moderate bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On draft. Pours a copper color with a medium thick off white head. Soft aroma of buttered bread and hay. Taste is pleasantly soft, easy drinking malts but not overly sweet.

12 ounce can. Brassy gold color. Large pillowy white head. Mild grainy malt aroma. First sip is bittersweet and hoppy. Notes of black pepper, pine needles and dank citrus. Subtle and complex. An easy to drink IPA.

Sometimes I wonder why the beers I try at this restaurant always seem so different than what prior reviews indicate. Anyway, pours a standard amber from a tap, nose is bland and unimpressive as is the flavor. No grapefruit notes that I can detect. Wrong tap handle? Meh.
