Bottle courtesy of Steve In New Jersey, cheers mate! Slightly hazy yellowish golden pour with a mid sized dissipating white head . Fragrant nose with belgian yeast, piney hop and a hint of spice in attendance. Flavour was a pleasant surprise and struck a good balance with the sweetness and hops mingling to good effect. Alcohol pretty well masked. This was better than a lot of Belgian Tripels I’ve tasted and a very decent and interesting take on the style. Nice brew from Sopranoland !

Sampled on draft at the Back Bay Ale House in Atlantic City NJ this beer poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head that lingered. The aroma was dryish and musty with faint pepper and cardboard underneath. The flavor was dry and musty with light notes of cardboard, citrus and honey. There was a faint tangy off flavor. The finish was long, dry and bitter. Light to medium body. Eh.

750 from Oak Tree. Pours a hazy orange tinged gold with a low foamy white head. Fresh peach/citrus aromas. Full bodied. Carbonation is very smooth and creamy. Flavor has lots of nice fruit, citrus, and floral hop. It seems very lightly spicey/peppery. It is extremely pleasant. Finishes like mild ripe stone fruit. Very nice. Saison like.

Crisp light copper coloured body with a honey glow and a very thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of light hops, honeysuckle, malt and a bunch of sugars - not much dry hopping! Light-bodied; Nice mellow grassy and floral hop notes in the taste with a good malt backbone and a very sweet honey flavour throughout. Aftertaste only slightly bitter, with more hop flavours noticeable at the end, and a good complex rounded taste. Overall, a good IPA, not stellar, but not showing any bad flavours or many super hoppy ones either. I sampled this 12 ounce botlte purchased from Liquor Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 11-July-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2010.

Lemony, citrus, rye, and earth round this ale out. Has a nice spicy yeast finish to it. Bubbly palate. Pretty tasty beer.

Sampled at SAVOR 2010. Pours a clear amber with one ring of white head. Aroma is sugary, Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet, sugary, sweet caramel, Belgian yeast. Full bodied and a touch hot.

Bottle at Black Squirrel. Golden, hi carbonation but small white head. Aroma of malt and hay. Taste is sweet at first, then black pepper. Interesting.

Not much going on with this IPA (IPA? Really?). Some light floral and citrus hops but low bitterness and not much flavor. A higher hoped golden ale is what this is closer to being in my opinion. Still, there is nothing wrong with it. It drinks easy, is refreshing, and seems well brewed- it just doesn’t fit in with the IPA crowd.

Pours a cloudy yellow. Nose is citrus, tangerine, golden wheats and floral hops. Taste is citrus and dry hopped rice.

Draught: Poured a caramel brown with a light reddish outline, the head was creamy off white. Aroma was nice mix of fruit and caramel malt. Taste was nice fruit with loads of malts for balance. The finish was dry and warming to the tongue. What a beer to celebrate the birth of my son!
