Draft at Gun Hill, 4/10/16. Drinks and smells fairly sweet, almost chocolate cake like flavor. Big body / mouthfeel. Bold, malty sweetness. Interesting stuff. Not outstanding, but still pretty damn enjoyable to try.

Location: Bottle from the brewery, 4/14/16
Aroma: Rye and grainy malts on the aroma, no roast, with a earth, spice, and citrus
Appearance: Dark brown with a creamy light brown colored head and average, spotty lacing
Flavor: Much more roast on the aroma, but the rye malt is still the dominant flavor up-front. The roast rolls in mid-palate, and it finishes with a fruity and earthy hop bitterness.
Palate: Drinks medium bodied with a lively tingle to the mouthfeel, and a mid-dry close
Overall Impression: I would say out of the 4 "identifying" words in the deScription I get the rye the most, the black (dark malt) the second most in the flavor (though it's barely there in the aroma), the IPA (hops) second in the aroma (third in the flavor), and the Belgian the least in flavor (and in a tie for last with the dark malts in the aroma). Not sure why I went into that level of detail on that, as it wasn't really interesting at all.

Sweet grains on the aroma. Darker orange color with a fairly strong amount of beige lace. Something a bit fruity (perhaps?) to go along with the malty sweetness. Very smooth and clean. Interesting, pretty good, hard to place.

A nice red hue on an orange beer. Good flavor and aroma mix of light tartness and light sweetness. Thought the balance was really good here and the overall flavor mix was pretty good as well. Very drinkable too. Well made.

Draught @ Hops Hill. Inky black with fast disappearing forthy beige head, faint alcohol aroma upfront, low carbonation, tastes like brown ale infused with vodka, abrupt finish. I am not sure what the intention was with this.
