Somewhere: pours black with a brown head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee and plenty of roasty malts. Taste is middle sweetness. Loads of chocolate. A good bit of coffee. Nice body. Good stuff.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours amber with a white head. Aroma is nice maltiness, earth hops, and caramel. Taste is malty with a nice hoppy bitterness. Not very sweet. Light aftertaste. Not a bad beer at all.
