Got 3 of these in a trade. Looks orangey / golden, nice persistent white head. Nose is Simcoe, Citra and crystal malts. Nice tropical fruit with a pine cone hint and a nice sweetness. Taste is pleasant. Pretty malt forward, sweet finish, The Citra I was expecting in taste isn’t there and I get a lot of Chinook, Warrior and Simcoe. The sweet finish is okay but then it’s a bit boozy tasting for a 7% beer. It’s good, smells better than it tastes.

Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, coffee and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
