Black as oil with the thickness of oil that hasn’t been changed for a good 6,000 miles. Dark fruits, molasses, some roasted notes, leather, coffee. Flavor is full of the molasses, dark fruit, roasted malts, and some chocolate. A real winner.

Bouteille partagée avec Ibrew2or3. Brune, fine mousse beige qui disparaît assez vite. Arôme et palais de malt grillé, fruité allant sur la pomme, un peu de chocolat laissant de fines traces d’amertume. Malt grillé et fumé. Fini est sec, poudreux restant sur un fini qui conserve des notes moyennes de malt fumé. Le tout est plus centre sur le malt et un profile un peu plus grillé.

Sample on draft at Vintage Estate. So I had to pick between this and the Barrel Aged Gonzo, which wasn’t an easy choice. I decided to go light and hoppy and hoped that it wouldn’t be a letdown. The glass held a nice orangish-gold beer with just a little head. First sniff of the beer was enough. I was enamored by the crisp citrus and resin with a little bit of an almost cat pee edge to it. Sharp and crisp hops dominated the palate, but were offset and balanced by a lovely malt presence (honey and almost biscuit). Citrus flavors that are pretty unlike any other I’ve had were the main draw and I was kinda hoping that it would snow like crazy while I was in the store so I could just huddle in the corner next to the keg. Dynamite work, TBK!

Bomber. Just a little bit of light slips in around the edges of this dark brown pour. Head is fairly thin... tan foam. Chocolate milk dominates the nose, with a bit of an earth and leather backdrop. Flavor is straight chocolate milk... with just a hint of darker and more bitter notes that peek through now and again. Flavor is decidedly sweet, but it doesn’t head off into cloying territory. ABV is excellently hidden.

22oz bottle pours a mostly transparent, deep mahogany with a creamy beige head. Nice chocolate nose, malty, brown sugar, light smoke. Flavor has lots of smoke, malty, chocolate, a little light sourness. Finish is soft and lightly smokey. Not bad.

22oz bottle pours a clear, bright yellow with a frothy, white head. Nose is grassy, lightly sweet, herbal. Flavor is light lemon, herbs, light malt. Finish is medium bodied, dry and lightly astringent.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours peach with white head. Nose is an in your face blanket of pineapple and peach. Taste is dry clean peach and very light pine. Medium body. Probably the best straight up IPA I’ve ever had.
