Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is sourish, fruity, with olives and some roast. Sourish flavor, somewhat roasty, with fruits and light spiciness. Medium-bodied. Seems unintentionally infected, but quite pleasant this way.

Tap at gingerman as I try to get drunk quick, what is this 2002? Any ways pour deep brown with nose of odd fruit and cola. Tastes of cola, banana, blackberry, white wine, light chocolate. Drying finish. Thanks NJ

12oz bottle thanks to eelbasher
Pours cloudy dark brown with a medium sized tan head and some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, wheat, spices and chocolate. Flavors of toasted malts, dark fruit, bitter and tart
OK, but wouldn’t want another.

Drought. Tasted as Sam’s Serious Pilsner at Waterfront Ale House, NY. Rich yellow color with very small whitish foamy head, no discernible aroma, sour doughy taste, fizzy with an abrupt finish. This was a poor example of a Pilsner.
