Pours cloudy dark brown with a medium sized tan head and some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, wheat, spices and chocolate. Flavors of toasted malts, dark fruit, bitter and tart
OK, but wouldn’t want another.

Drought. Tasted as Sam’s Serious Pilsner at Waterfront Ale House, NY. Rich yellow color with very small whitish foamy head, no discernible aroma, sour doughy taste, fizzy with an abrupt finish. This was a poor example of a Pilsner.

Drought, named as Sam’s Serious Winter at Waterfront Ale House. Dark brown reddish color with almost no head, fizzy with strong taste of sour cherry, long finish. Unfortunately made me think of a cough syrup.
