Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and light notes of burnt malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of soy sauce and roasted malt, leading to a dry finish where notes of coffee and a bit of chocolate lingers.

Bottled. Dark color, medium creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some brown sugar, coffee, dark chocolate. Bit sweet taste, creamy chocolat, quite roasted. More of a belgian styled imperial stout I would say. But quite ok.

Bottled (CK, BB 06/2009). Hazy dark amber-brown, murky color, very small off-white head. Tart, vinegarish nose with toffee, glue, red currant and strawberry. Flavor is not so tart. It is more like hoppy ... hoppy same time with red currant, caramel, yeast, some typical Dutch candy sugar flavor. Finish and aftertaste is kind of hoppy and a bit alcoholic. Weird beer, I am not sure if brewer really wanted this kind of doppelbock.

Bottle, 8.5%. Weak fruity aroma. Muddy light brown colour. The flavour has a little fruit, a little spice, coriander, and some yeast. Probably better with less yeast.

Bottle, 7.5%. Weak fruity aroma. Muddy orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite fruity, some good yeast notes. A little pepper in the finish. The yeast gets a bit much in the finish, but OK I guess.
