Tap at the Hallertau Bierfest. Cloudy amber to brown, low offwhite cream. Flowery roast, juicy malt, pleasant sweet roast notes, fruity and flowery balance, medium light mellow body, quite drinkable.

Sehr trübe Farbe – einfach schön. Hefig, fruchtig, getreidig– in der Reihenfolge. Ganz minimaler Hauch von Sekt. Sämig, cremig, sehr weich. Kaum Kohlensäure. Gut.

Kämper Bräu Dunkel, Flasche von Appel, Au i.d. Hallertau. - Kupferrotbraun, hefetrüb. - In der Nase reiches dunkles und toastiges Malz, üppige rote Beeren und feine orangenfruchtig-hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk üppig toast- und dunkelmalzig (Münchner Malz) mit feiner Malzbonbonsüße, dezenter roter Frucht und mild-aromatischer hopfenwürziger Herbe mit zarter Orangenschale. Weiche Milchschokolade rundet den karamelsüßen Körper ab. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hefeweich. Im Abgang noch überwiegend süß und mild fruchtig-herb mit nur knapper, leicht nussiger Bittere. - Reich und individuell malziges Dunkles, etwas sparsam gehopft aber angenehm. (19.5.2022.)

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 19th December 2021 listening to Idles - Crawler, smoking chicken outside and cooking Beef Bourgogne inside in the slow cooker. Pours murky yellowy colour with a white head. Yeasty with a little toffee and banana, even a slight creamy vanilla, nice carbonation. Clove less noted but there is a hint of spice.
