Gutes Weihnachtsbier.

Bottle. Corn syrup and barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Sweet orange, light barley malt, and grassy hops flavor - wow, very unusual but it works well. Although the aroma doesn’t really do much for me, the flavor is a very pleasant surprise - very nice.

Bottle (courtesy of Jonas !): Deep chestnut-amber coloured with a smaller, quite stable off-white layer; moderate sweetish-caramelly nose with a tinge of toasted malt; moderate bitter-sweetish flavour, medium bodied; traces of hops in the drier bitter-sweet finish. O.K., quite well balanced brew.......

Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste with caramel and light herbal accents; moderately dry and bitter finish (26.08.08).

Getreidig-herber Antrunk, etwas hopfig. Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,8,7,8,7 - 7,10
