Bottled 330ml. –from small local shop near San Siro stadium, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy and honeyish nose. Sweet malty, grainy, honeyish and touch of caramel with dusty finish. Not worth of Juventus symbols on the label.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Italy. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is grain, hay and light vegetable. Crisp, drinkable, but not clean. Sweet bread, corn flavour. Minimal bitterness, some creaminess, bitter finish.

0.33l bottle courtesy of Ogi ofc, who shared it with Hrabren and me. Clear golden body, off-white head. Lightly buttery aroma, grainy, bit vegetal. Lean, dry taste, bit herbal-minerally, vague sweetish grainy touch and oxidation. Astringent sadly, not too drinkable.

33cl bottle on an Air Dolomiti flight. Pours (in a paper cup) apparently amber, with white foam. Aroma is bready, cereal, chestnut honey. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, but also with some bitterness. The sweetness persists a little more in the final.

Optisch präsentiert sich dieses Bier in einem klaren und hellen Goldgelb mit grober Perlage. Die weiße, mittelporige Schaumkrone wirkt wässerig, hat wenig Volumen und fällt rasch auf einen dünnen Teppich zusammen. In der Nase vernimmt man zarte, getreidige Malznoten und einen Hauch Zitrus, der in eine leicht heuige Hopfennote übergeht. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, grob rezent und deutlich hopfenbitter. Im Mund zeigt sich ein schlanker Körper mit deutlicher Rezenz, niedriger Viskosität und angenehmer Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch gibt dieses hochvergorene Lager nur sehr zarte, getreidige bis weißbrotartige Malznoten her. Deutlich dominanter sind hingegen die trockenen, heuigen und leicht würzigen Hopfennoten. Im Großen und Ganzen ziemlich unspektakulär, aber alles andere als schlecht. Man bekommt eigentlich genau das was man erwartet - ein ganz unkompliziertes, hopfiges helles Lager. Im Nachtrunk bauen die Malznoten rasch ab und eine zunehmende, leicht trockene und immer kräftiger werdende Hopfenbitterkeit macht sich breit. Fazit: Erinnert mit seiner Hopfenbetonung ein wenig an ein Pils. Als Urlaubsbier in Italien kann man davon schon mal das Eine oder Andere trinken. Unspektakulär, mäßig, aber okay.
