Tasted at the BeerTemple in Amsterdam, in the company of a brewer of Nögne Ö, who is apparently an acquaintance of the Two Roads brewer in Connecticut. Moussy, stable, off-white head, cloudy yellow blonde colour with greenish hue. Sweaty aroma, hint of H2S even (sewer water), but fortunately more charming aromas of apple, pear, dough, wheat and pineapple as well. Soft applish onset, white grape, hint of banana but less so than in a Bavarian Hefeweizen, light citrus freshness, bready and a bit yeasty middle, dryish finish with light, basic wheat sourishness and hops only for structure, not really noticeable as such. Does not travel too well I guess, this is allegedly a lot better when fresh.

On tap at Taproom Malmö. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, some coffee, light fruit and some chocolate. Similar taste. Full body and with a long aftertaste. A pleasant beer.

16 ounce can. Hazy gold color topped by a large Rocky white head. Big fruity grapefruit nose. Flavor is malty sweet caramel and grapefruit hops. Notes of tropical fruits and peaches. Finish is dry ang peppery. 8% ABV is barely noticeable. Nicely done.

On tap at Hinesburg public house.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark pink close to red color with no head nor lacing.
The smell started off with a sharp raspberry and gets slightly tart as it warms up.
The taste was moderately sweet carrying a light tanginess to carry into the aftertaste. There’s no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt right as a raspberry ale allowing some sweet fruit to roll slightly dry over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a decent fruit beer. Raspberry is there and seems authentic. For me, I might come back to.

Pours a black from a bottle with a thin tan head leaving little lacing. Notes of licorice and espresso in the nose, bittersweet molasses, and a slight rye sourness in the mouth. Bitter forward finish, some sweetness, but mostly dry. Good beer.

Draft at Bar Bacon, 6/17/15. Clear orange color with our really any head or lace. Fairly sweet and malty aroma. Honey notes. Bread. Fairly sweet flavor as well. Light, soft, and fairly easy drinking. Sweet, but not overpoweringly so. Not bad.

Bottle. An unclear, yellowish beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is lighlty grainy, with a generic fruityness and some piney, citrusy hints. Rather grassy too. The flavor is a bit lacking on complexity, with grainy pale malts, citrusy, grassy hops and a decent bitterness. Lacking on the goodness the saison yeasts normally brings. Medium to full body, dry and with a nice carbonation level. Fruity finish. Quenching and easy drinkable, but rather boring. 150610

Bottle. An unclear, yellow-golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is weak, with grass, grains and some hay. There’s also a faint touch of pepper in the far back. The flavor has a decent bitterness along with grains, hay and grassy, piney hops. Much more interesting than the aroma. It’s medium bodied and quite dry, with an appropriate carbonation level. Lasting piney, peppery and grassy finish with an underlaying touch of hay and cellar. A refreshing and quite nice beer I could drink a few of. 150610
