Haven’t been tipping toes in sake enough these past few years. Like to remedy that. Very clear. Nose is melon and rice. Tastes of pear, honey dew, rice water, and apple. Smooth palate. Very easy drinking.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Almost colourless. Somewhat nutty aniseed aroma. Quite sweet with medium body and rounded, mildly oily mouthfeel. Aniseed with notes of umami. Mild peppery finish.

Quite much water coloured. Aroma is mild alcohol, some gin and mild spiciness. Flavour is alcohol, spices, wooden and mild sweetness. Somewhat dry palate. quite nice.

23/10/2024. Cheap 200ml sake cup bought at 7-Eleven, Otemachi, Tokyo. Think I’ve entered it against the right one here. Pours clear colourless with no head. Aroma is sweet, sugar syrup, melon, hint of chocolate, has a little boozy harshness. Medium sweetness, quite harsh bitterness. Moderate body, no carbonation. Has a drying bitter finish. Not this trips sake highlight.
