Description
«Atrium» is a Latin word meaning « entrance hall », a place from which we have access to other environments. The Atrium Brewery emanates from a passion for beer, from a strong will to attract other people towards a universe rich of stories, savors and flavors : this is what we are commissioned to do! Therefore we brew unconventional beers making use of high quality products only, carefully selected to lead to a unique sensory experience.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19.

Bruin bier zonder schuim. Gewoon goed.

I Draught /I Deep russet rim, utterly jet-black beer. Molasses syrup, overdone caramel syrup, very roasted/burnt, roasted nuts. More syrup, liquorice, roast, meatroast, again typically burnt caramel & toffee. Chewy, well-bodied, some alcoholheat. Bitter chocolate in the aftertaste, cacao. Starts a tad sweet, rest good strong stout.

I Draught /I Russet-cream small head over jet-black beer. Dry hoppy nose, felt, loden, bit of chocolate. Black chocolate, black cardamome, dry dark green leaves, bit of leather. Medium bodied, bit slick, well-carbonated, even spritzy. Nice stronger black IPA.

I Draught /I Very good mango to cream head, stable, over fully hazy redbrown beer, textbook lace. Bit roasted, mix of milk- and bitter chocolate, cake, hops. Bitterish, faint roast, again quite chocolatey. Hops are there, but subdued. Medium bodied, somehow feeling thinner than it probably is; good carbonation, not visible. Not much IPA in character.
